Hence, there's nothing really wrong with that statement. Tasteless perhaps, heartless, quite possibly.

Myrth is one of the very few moderators who still communicates with us as a player. Anyway, this would be the first political RP forum where a moderator can't express his/her opinion. That'll be the day :lol:

Myrth has as much of a right to an opinion as any one else. Mod or not. End of story.

Get off your high horse and find something else to worry about. Myrth's comment was a bit tasteless, but it wasn't even that bad compared to some of the other garbage that was coming from both sides in that thread. You're not upset that Myrth wished that a political leader had died earlier. You're upset that Myrth wished that a political leader whom you liked had died earlier. Somehow I doubt that you'd be calling for mod resignations if Clinton had been the politician in question.

Now really, I think that Myrth was completely wrong in his statement in that it was tasteless and heartless. I also believe that he should, as a mod, be trying to provide a better example of what a member should be like...nonetheless, he ultimately has a right to say what he pleases within certain limits. His comments were within those limits. I say that we can always politely ask him not to be quite so brash in future times, but really, asking him to resign and being rude to and about him? I don't think so.

I also forgot to mention that I'm about as far right as you can go, I'm a royalist for God's sake and I still don't look back on the death of the likes of FDR, Stalin, Lenin, even Hitler and celebrate. I can't speak for anyone else, but I, for one, simply do not celebrate people's deaths. I can celebrate that they will no longer spread their messages with which I do not agree, I can celebrate that their policies will no longer be followed, but I refuse as a human being to celebrate that someone, no matter how wrongly they used their life, has died.

You're having a severe case of double standard because of the fact that Myrth is a mod.

Every one has a right to an opinion.. including moderators. We can't all agree and how dreadfully boring it would be if we did.

This doesn't belong here, there is no valid complaint.
