Rep, a question for you

Your sig. Posting it almost everytime you post. Doesn't it contribute to the lag? We're kinda sick of the lag...

The pic on your sig is, what? 32k? If you posted that thing 100 times...
3.2Mb if my computer-knowledge is correct.

That's just one hundred times. I think you've posted a lot more than that.

A couple hundred 3 page threads are probably 3.2 megs...

I'm not asking you to purge threads now. *cries from the memories* and I'm NOT saying your the root of the lag
I'm just saying it may benefit the server if sigs like yours weren't allowed till we move to Jolt.

Just a thought.

As her sig is stored on her server, and not NS's...

Plus, once downloaded to cache, it doesn't get downloaded again until you empty that cache.... unlike 0.5KB text sigs, which need to be downloaded every time, so over time could theoretically take up much more server space and bandwidth than Reps. Text sigs ARE stored on the server.

Seems everybody beat me to it

And I usually reserve the sig with the pic for posts that need that extra "FEAR ME, FOR I AM MOD!" touch
