Here is a topic that Cuneo Island claims to have come clean. Is he telling the truth now?

What about IP searches or something like that?

Do you think he's telling the truth, Myrth?

Not our place to say. Steph's really already said as much as we can.

What about IP searches or something like that?

An IP scan will only say where he's posting from. It will reveal no information about his marital status, job prospects, etc. Much as an IP scan will reveal that I'm a Mod puppet, but not that I have hair down to my toes and that's it's electric blue.

...or that the above is largely inaccurate, heh.

Personally, I think this is rather funny. He's not funny, he's actually rather sad that he must keep hiding his indentity and then lying about it, then trying to cover for lying, then lying in the process.

It's an interesting study, not only on the way the conscience reacts to lies, but also on how the rest of the NS community reacts to his verisimilitude of life.

But then, why do people care this much? There are 12 year olds on this site pretending to be 25 and there are 50 year olds pretending to be 25 and then there are 25 year olds pretending to be good-looking. And no-one has cared up to this point. I don't see the big deal now unless people don't like others to lie to them.

Well my goodness gracious, I just may have proved the fact that humanity not only has a conscience but that it reacts to wrong!

What will Steph think of me now...

Here is my thoughts on the matter..

I personally would not of cared that he lied. I'm sure he's not the only one on the forums who is lets say being less then honest. This shouldn't surprise me or you. I felt the need to expose him because I didn't like the fact that he cheated and also because he went on about it so much it got to the point that if I had rolled my eyes one more time, I might have ended up with vision problems..

That being said.. I think there is a rule of thumb for people to follow. Once some one has lied it's a breach of trust (if you ever trusted them to begin with) This goes to credibility.. once that credibility has been lost it's usually safe to assume that every thing the person says after that becomes suspect. Do I know he's not 26? Of course not. Do I believe he's a high school student? Most certainly.. These are just my personal beliefs. I have no age scan to check.. I can only go by the style and way in which he posted... I can only go by believing a 26 year old would not of been so silly as to think what they were saying was believable.

The bottom line for me.. once some one has lied to you, can you ever really believe any thing they say after? For me the answer is no. Perhaps I'm a cynic.. I personally am putting this one to bed, because at the end of the day, I feel I exposed him and my work here is done. ;)

...and then there are 25 year olds pretending to be good-looking.

But I am a 25-year-old! ...and I'm good-looking! Really! Honest!

Okay, so I'm 26! Small difference! Are you really going to hold that against me!?
