A couple of friends I know have nations on nationstate. There was an incident of hacking into anothers nation (Neuvo Rico) The person who did it, used my computer so if it is followed up it is me that will get the full brunt of the mods. We have dealt with the hacker outside of the game (Nothing too violent) and he has been forgiven, however, Neuvo Rico asked to have it looked at before. I would like to make sure that My nation, Craggtopia, is not deleted. The nations Neuvo Rico and Moozimoo can back up this. Please don't delete my nation!

someone hacked into someones else's nation (Neuvo Rica) using his(Craggtopia's) computer. He is worried because I told Neuvo Rica to go to the getting help page, and Cragg thinks he is going to be deated.
...
I don't know whether I'm at liberty to disclose the hacker's name...

Well, to keep secure your PC it's all your responsibility. If someone else used his/her PC to hack your nation this would be ban-worhty offence. If this is a public computer just disable the auto log-in and press "No" when IE asks you if you want windows to remember these passwords. The mods cannot check who is behind the screen. They are using IPs and other similar things.
If the other guy done something illegal (spamming, abusing, griefing etc.) the nation most probably will be DEATed and never resurrected.
Keep your passwords in safe place

<----- most probably never gonna be a mod

I think he means that someone used his computer and logged in on their own nation, just using his computer.

<-----Not a mod, wants to beat TAR to it though.

Just our of curiousity, is there a way moderators can confirm whether or not nations in a situation such like this are telling the truth?

No, someone else used my computer to hack into Neuvo Rico's account. He didnt get in but he has changed his password.

Does not compute.

If he didn't get in, how could he change anything?

I apologize for the misunderstanding. I usually say <--- not a mod at the end of my posts in here and technical, but I sometimes forget. Once again, I sincerely apologize for the error.

Craggtopia, if the e-mail you provided with your nation was your e-mail. Unless he hacked into your nation by already knowing your password, that would be the only way he could change the e-mail there to get a new password.

<--- not a mod.
