As you all know, I have been waiting for my ISP to stop being shithouse about the way it routes its customers. When I go to www.nationstates.net I still get that same message I've always got telling my that my ISP has been banned because of some idiot. The end of the message however says this:

UPDATE (13 Apr 04): TelstraClear has advised that as of May 4th,
their customers will no longer share a single IP address.
As soon as this occurs, TelstraClear and Paradise users will
no longer be affected by this ban. So there's light at the
end of the tunnel at last! Thanks for your patience.

So admin, (lo violet) is it them still or do you need to change something?

cheers.

As a side note, I'd like to hear about any possible legal action that might be taking place against the mature adult who caused all these problems to begin with.

Well, the IP address given on the page is still that of one of the proxies. I've checked, and the page is not cached on my machine. Furthermore, the proxies are indeed still being used (all those "What is my IP address" sites give the IP of one of the proxies too). So yes, it certainly appears TelstraClear have betrayed us once again. I'm probably going to phone them some time tonight and find out what the hell they think they're up to.

That would be great, actually. The more the customers bitch about it to them, the more likely they are to actually do something, especially since they seem to be largely ignoring us.
