why was i deated? the FUA link was forbidden because it had porn pop-ups, but now ive been told those pop-ups have been gotten rid of. Whats the dealio?

I'm looking into it, however if it was for the FUA linking, is there any way to be certain the porn popups are gone? They didn't always come up in the past, and it's not like we get notified of these things.

sorry, i was at a computer store but they told me i was out of time so i ran over to the internet cafe. (i dont have internet at home).

even im not to sure that FUA`s porn pop-ups are gone, but ive been told by a couple people and i believe them. ive never actually gotten any of those pop-ups, but ppl have told me about them.

I never seen any porn on this site, and I believe that you are genuine. I think you deserve a restoration. If it was only for your honor :wink:
Warnings serve purposes, and you know now that FUA can't be 100% trusted. They have never said to be against porn pop-ups. Anyway, I have a pop-up blocker 8)

If you think that a particular site may have pornographic pop-ups, then do not link to that site. Posting any pornography is grounds for deletion-without-warning.

i have never gotten any and ive just talked to about 5 people that are on regularly that have never even gotten any popups at all. the only person that ive ever heard got a porn pop-up was a NS mod. :? thats kinda weird since there are 210 ppl on the site. im not calling anybody a liar, and if there is anything i hate its people who post nasty pics. but im pretty sure FUA is clean.

I get it every single time and only that one. I have no idea how these pop-ups work, but nevertheless, I don't use internet filters against porn or such. I guess that my internet supplier has activated some sort of a fire wall, but I don't think there is a porn filter included. Thing is: when I personally never get any porn pop-ups from a site (not just this one, but any site), how can I suspect that others will get one? As I said, I haven't personally tried to block pop-ups of any kind. This question isn't just about FUA, but about the whole web. I mean, people link to pages here on a regular basis and so do I, but I would never deliberatly link to a site with porn pop-ups. But it could happen, or?

It's probably that the mods are using a bit broader definition of "pornographic" ...
