Five days ago, my sister joined onto NationStates. I realized that although this is fine while we have separate computers to log on from, we'll end up having to share the same computer while at my mom's house. My sister has yet to join the UN and I haven't logged onto NationStates from my mom's house in almost a month, but before then I did log on there repeatedly. I'm worried that if my sister enters the UN, then logs onto NationStates at my mom's computer, we'll both lose UN status permanently. Would it be possible for me to stay in the UN if I simply never again log on while at my mom's computer?

As long your 2 UN nations are never accessed from the same computer, you'll be fine.

Still, suppose I log onto my UN nation numerous times, then stop from ever logging on at that computer, then after a month of the computer not being used for NationStates, my sister starts logging on a UN nation there. The whole "2 UN nations never accessed from the same computer" would cease to be because my sister will have logged a UN nation onto a computer I used to log on at until a month previous, so what happens then?

:Edit: ...and no, I don't intend on logging on at that computer again.

The mods have more than just IP addressess to go on when they do UN multi scans.
