Question about Requests

I'm planning on leaving NS after my thread is done, and I was wondering if it is possible for a nation to request immediate deletion.

I'm not asking for it now, but just makign sure it can be done.

How do I delete my nation?

You can't. I decided it's better to have people upset because they can't start over with the same nation name than people upset because their nations got accidentally deleted.

If you don't log your nation in, it will be deleted automatically in 28 days.

You could either let it die of inactivity, or give it to another person to have permenantly.

Plain answer: No.

Of course you can always do SBM, but it is unpolite. I wouldn't recommend it.

Let the nation die and if you change your mind, you can always ask for it back.

Suicide By Mod is permanently permanent.

It is deletion, but it is not recommended.

"Suicide by Mod" is generally when a nation goes out of their way to break the rules to get deleted- often in a Klamath-esque blaze of spam/goatze/etc.

Very irksome to the mods, and very, very permenant. If you let your nation die off of inactivity, you later have the option of getting it revived should you wish to return. Suicide by mod, on the other hand, is permenant, and often includes a forum post purge. (Since often the SBM involves spamming the forums.) Nations that suicide by mod are also generally looked down upon by the general populous.

NS is quite boring, but I have to have something that links me to the world when I'm programming, so this is it.
