As I 'logged-on' to NS today, i found that my fun nation, Arse Land, "Ceased to exist"!!! Please may some kind of moderator or admin-type tell me why it's been deleted! I have not cheated, griefed, spammed or done anything wrong. I have also seen more 'offensive' nations than one called "Arse Land" and i cant believe anyone could be so stupid to find that offensive!

Please help, I was enjoying that nation and was doing really well (in my opinion) with it! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

What can't I post?
Any content that is:

obscene
illegal
threatening
malicious
defamatory
spam
This applies to your nation's name, motto, and other customizable fields, any messages you write, images you post, or any other content you upload or link to NationStates. If you do, your nation will be deleted. See the site's Terms & Conditions for details.

Also prohibited is the practice of "griefing." Griefing is playing with the primary aim of annoying or upsetting other people. If you do this, the game moderators may take action against you.

Along with signing the terms and conditions which you signed to play the game does this answer the question.

Myrth and TG have been tracking down offensive names so i guess they caught you. Arse is considered offensive on NationStates.

Max has the right to delete your nation for whatever reason, whenever they want too.

Firstly, this belongs in Moderation.
Secondly, your nation was caught in a large purge of nations with offensive names.

Exactly. Besides, it says in the rules that you can't have a name that's deemed offensive in a vulgar sort of way.

hmmmmm. somehow, a game that allows you to sanction religious and political oppression, yet feels that a*** or a** is offensive, seems a little..... odd.
maybe that's why we love it so much.

actually, 'Arse' means 'Arse'.
An 'Ass' is a hybrid of the equine genus.
