The Republic of Ithuania has reached a conclusion: Grigia is run by a complete and utter moron. That is all.





I think this is griefing. All I wanted was to debate a proposal that i´ve issued at the UN and got those insults. I did my best trying to write that proposal and think I didn´t deserve this mistreatment. I just wanted to let you know. Monitor.

I believe that the proper term for this is flameing and not griefing.

Moving on, while it certainly isn't the nicest thing to say, many people write In Character on the UN Forum, and that appears to be the case here.

My proposal wasn´t about regional invasions but world peace. But I really thank you two for making the point clear. I´m just trying to learn the rules of the game. Monitor.

Isn't griefing used specifically for invasions and more generally to mean harassing another player?

I think that griefing at it's widest sense is trying to do something in an attempt to make the game less fun for someone else --> "to cause grief". That's what a region crash is, an attempt to take the fun out of the game. That's also what flamers and trollers do. Since griefing is such a broad term, it would be better to descrbe it as a region crash, flame, troll, etc...

But Hack is right because griefing is more commonly used to describe a region crash or invasion. Mabye Hack or another mod could clear this up (and tell me if I'm right? :P ).

Personally, I only use the term "griefing" to mean a regional invasion that violates the rules. For forum activities, I tend to use flaming, baiting, spamming, etc.
