The story goes like this:



My betrothed, my good friend, and myself started a region called Uberchron, we had the idea of having a fairly liberal region with a strong solidarity. For a time we had such a region. Everything seemed fine.

This was untill my good friend Haarps decided to be funny and make a clone and post a picture of a naked fat bald man in a corner (which you could not really classify as pornography as there was no genitalia visible, however, was by Stephistan) to have a laugh. He was chastised (quite rudely mind you) by Stephistan, then apologised for doing this to, but was greeted with nothing but hostility by this same moderator. This moderator then locked the 2nd thread which was made to find out why the 1st thread was locked. Stephistan then seemed to want to attack Uberchron (which I feel is unacceptable) by removing Haarps and myself from the UN (an unjustified action) and claiming openly in a forum that Haarps and myself are the same person. As I stated in the 3rd thread that was started to understand all this, I may connect from Haarps' IP every so often, but I do connect mostly from a newcastle.edu.au (Newcastle University in Australia), this however was overlooked when ejecting us from the UN. All of our comments (and my messages sent through the proper medium as described in the telegram NS sent myself) seem to have fallen on deaf ears, noone has tried to rectify this situation, but are all too egar to point the finger about nothing.

This however is not the end. Today, my wife to be advised me that she too has been ejected from the UN for this same reason. For a game that advertises making your own nation and governing it however you wish, there is a heavy undertone of National Socialist (Nazi[is that a coincidence?]) ideals on Nation States.

The main problem is that myself and my partner never use the forums unless needed (we aren't down with the attitudes of forum junkies), which we have had to do now. So I ask NS mods, when someone doesn't play the game on the forums and you eject them from the UN for your own personal reasons, does that not make you liars about the whole "run your own government"... it seems like it's more like "run your own government (so long as you think like the mods wish you to think)".

All that seems to have happened is a heap of mods flexing their powers to feel better about the fact they have little or nothing in their lives. This is my opinion, true or not, it's upto you mods to change my mind, not reinforce the fact.

If you were ejecting for UN multiing, you don't have to be on the forums for that to happen; you won't get your nations back into the UN either if you are found to be multiing purposely or by accident, as there's no way to prove either way.

Steph had nothing to do with your ejections. And Tuesday Heights is correct- your nation and Haarps come up on our UN multi scan, hence, you got ejected by one of the mods.

Continueing to dredge the subject up is not going to help your case any, and attacking the mods even less so.

This nation has been determined to be in breach of UN rules, which allow you to only have one nation in the UN at any given time. It has thus been ejected and barred from re-joining.

Please note this is the most lenient punishment. Further breaches will be punished with nuclear strikes against all offending nations, destroying them.

If you wish to appeal this decision, please contact the game moderators via the Help page.

I have messaged the moderators and explained the problem and nothing has been done. So dont act like I am unjustified in being somewhat fed up with the moderators on Nation States.

EDIT: FYI, all that has happened is another nation being ejected as I stated.

Your appeal was looked at, and the scan results double-checked. On our end, you and Haarps appear to be multies, and unfortunately, we cannot simply take players at their word, and we have no way to verify how many people are on the other end of any one computer. (We have quite seriously had cases where somebody with UN multies called Nation1 and Nation2, with identical mottos, flags, etc swear up and down that they aren't multies, it's just their friend/roommate/fiancee/etc.)

rascuache mostly = *.telstra.com.au

to me, it seems very obvious that there are 3 people who know eachother, hang out together and log in from eachother's house to check shit. if that isn't obvious to the mods of nationstates, then I dont know why they you are moderators.

I understand your predicament Rep., however, Sortius is referring to the ejection of his partner, who, as far as I know, was not registered through my IP at all, but through the same .edu.au domain as Sortius uses regularly.
Basically after we gave up on restoring either Sortius or Haarps, Rascuache was ejected, which seems to be purely out of malice.
We want peace.

EDIT: It seems a third carrier is Rascuache's, nonetheless, the point is still valid.

not a mod, but....isnt it clearly stated in the rules that it doesnt matter if you just "log on from others computers" even if you primiarily do ti form your own...if it goes once, the deed is done. They cant tell if you're lying or not...the best bet is to give this up, and try again with new nations and to NOT log on using the same computers...that way, you'll be sure
also, insulting mods...or implying insults or missdeeds isnt the ticket to a good case...trust me, i've seen that before......

Ur... o_O According to the mod centre, Rascuache is still IN the UN, and there aren't any warning tags oe anything o_O

Bashing the Mods isn't exactly the best way to get your UN status back. Just some friendly advice there.

The best thing that you could do is suck it up and move on. I haven't seen too many times when the Mods will give you back a UN status after an ejection. Once you are found in a multi scan, the case is pretty much closed and they won't do too much for you. You should just move on before you get on the Mods bad side and/or do something that you'll regret.

Because, on occation, we do overturn ejections. I've done it myself before, however it takes a large amount of evidence for this to happen. Furthermore, that telegram is sent by the game automatically.

Finally, Max is well aware of what is going on with this site, and has no complaints. This isn't a "Nazi state", it is, however, a dictatorship, which Max freely admits in the FAQ.

why not just givethis up and make a new un nation and join with that nation? its pointless to try and battle the mods, the power gos to their heads, dont try it.

Umm, just for the record, I had an issue with Haarps who created a puppet to post unacceptable material according to our ToS. Which was sorted out that very same day. I had nothing to do with any one being ejected from the UN. If memory serves me correct, Cog ran a UN check on Haarps that day when she was arguing with myself in moderation. Cog is a very trust-worthy person. If Cog says it showed up as a UN multi, you can bet it did. Rep is our most senior moderator.. if she says it showed up on the scan, it did. I however, had nothing to do with it.

It's also completely irrelevant.

#1 I posted the picture of myself, and myself it indeed is, in the hope of drawing attention away from the issue, which isn't going to be rectified, and onto a friendlier level, but was met with flat statements of its relevance.

#2 Now that relevance has been set as a topic for debate, I question the presence of 'Tuesday Heights' , the necessity of its comments and the importance of stating that nothing was proven regardless of the fact I hadn't set out to prove anything.
