There's your explanation. If one doesn't log in for a period (which I believe to be fourteen days) then your nation becomes inactive. If you ask a moderator politely, and in the correct forum (I'd suggest 'Technical') then you may well get it reinstated.
Don't demand. It's unbecoming.
