Now, I realise that this might not be the most appropriate forum (Technical, perhaps?) and that this post may not be the most appropriate way to go about this, and may even not be in line with advice about who can resurrect old threads ([violet] apparently), but this forum seems to be the most visited by mods, who in turn I hope might look kindly on my plea to intercede with [violet] to resurrect the following threads - for a brief time only - so that I can rip out the texts, and meld them into my new archive thread, before letting the old threads fade gratefully back into obscurity.

Please, please, could someone help?

Once posts are gone, they're gone. Unless this version of phpbb2 is modifed so as to prevent it. Threads are removed from the database, so the only way to retrieve them is to load up an old back-up and find the relevant threads. This is time consuming and as a result it is highly unlikely that the admin will go through with it.
