Okay on one of my puppet nations I just got a warning from the mods that I was not allowed to advertise in player created regions. Something I didn't know but I have now learned. They said I could advertise in feeder regions. Where else can I advertise then?

Am I allowed to advertise by telegram to individual players?

I asked the same question a while ago.

They said to post in the Gameplay forum, as a new thread or in the Regional Directory sticky. Or in the New NationStates Super Thread, which is stickied in the NationStates forum.

As far as I can tell, you can telegram people, but I don't know. I've gotten them before, so i can only assume you're allowed to.

You are allowed to telegram players but not in huge amounts

You can advertise in Feeder regions (the many pacifics), the Rejected Realms, and Lazarus.

Nations are not created into Lazarus. They go there when ressurected. It is not a feeder, and it has a Founder.

You can advertise in Feeder regions (the many pacifics)can i see a mod post this? i have seen them say where not to post but i have yet to see one post where we can, they all sorta seem to just skim the surface. our region is mostly a older region with a few 2billion plus nations, we have recently been stuck at 50 nations and was wanting to spread the word of our region and invite new nations. we have our own site and forums we have worked hard on and poured money into (www.cannabisisland.org shameless plug!) and would to share it with the rest of the NS world. we would just like to hear a mod say its ok to advertise a very short and no where near fequent ad in the feeder regions.

I find region advertising extremely annonying. Can it not just be confined to Gameplay?

Or direct telegrams to nations because I really dont like going to the pacifics and RR and see people actually talkin about stuff then you see a big ad in the middle of their conversations

The problem with restricting recruiting only to the Gameplay forum is that not a lot of people get on the forums, at least not proportionally and even when they do, most, myself included, don't ever go to the gameplay forum.

Mostly, I hang out in the General amd Moderation forums.

My own personal opinion is this. You should be allowed to recruit anywhere as long as you aren't spamming.

With the exception of Lazarus.
