Appeal to the UN

Resistencia
26-03-2004, 20:52
Greetings,
I have recently been expelled from the UN. The message I was sent said to go to the help page so I believe I am sending my message to the right place.
I believe my expulsion from the UN was unjust and completely baseless. I currently only control one nation in the UN (Resistencia). I have two other nations which I control, but neither are in the UN (Illionita & Freemanville). My brother uses this computer for his nation (Giorgistopolis), but his nation is not in the UN either. The only possible reason I could find for my expulsion is the fact that I used my friend's computer to go onto my nation. However, if you check your records, you will see that I always logged on under this IP address except that one time. In addition, if you make additional inspections, you will see that I have never at any time endorsed my friend's UN nation nor have I voted on any of his proposititons. The only thing we did together was make up a post togther on the NationStates forum. I would like to have my name cleared because at no time have I ever cheated the NationStates system or the UN. I am a law abiding nation that is trying to spread the message of the left along with the fellow members of my region. In that region, Resistencia is the only region I control. One of my other nations, Freemanville, was created by me a few days ago and has similar views to Resistencia, but I have never posted with it nor have I made attempts to join the UN. My other nation, Illionita, is a corporate police state and because of this, cannot be used to support Resistencia in any way. This nation has also never attempted to join the UN. My brother's nation, Giorgistopolis, is a Green nation that is too naturalistic for my tastes. In addition, he has never posted, never attempted to join the UN, and is not active in his region. I hope after reading my appeal, you will realize that I am truly innocent and should be re-instated into the UN. If I am not allowed to be part of the UN, it will be much more difficult for me to make a difference in the NationStates world. Please let justice be served and allow me to re-enter the UN.
sincerely,
United Socialist States of Resistencia

This is most likely the cause of your ejection. You shouldn't log on to your nation from computers used by other players in the UN, since it can be picked up by the cheat scan the mods use to find multis.

The mods have barely ever unlifted a UN ban, and the usual response is "you are free to join the UN with a new nation, and be more careful."

It's also possible that you were booted for proposing resolutions that don't meet the guidlines posted in the UN forum (things like game mechanics changes, real world issues, actions against specific players, and joke proposals). If you have recieved any past warnings about reolutions or have recently submitted several resolutions, this is a possibility. The UN expulsion telegram is automated, and assumes you were ejected for multi-ing even though there are other reasons you can be ejected.
