Over half the nations in my region have recently been deleted, and the owners, who are friends of mine, have no idea why. They suspect it is because of hard feelings a former nation holds against the entire region for us not allowing him to put spies in every single one of our countries. This is very upsetting to us that a moderator might have helped this country, Dobsinia, just because he didn't like us as people.

If you would please answer us, it would be much appreciated.

I personally have no first hand knowledge of your situation, however, I can assure you that no Nationstates Moderator would assist any one seeking revenge on other nations.

If a Moderator has deleted quite a few of the nations in your region at once, it is usually because of UN Multi's. However, I'm just taking a guess, as I said, I don't know your situation. This is usually the case though.

I'm sure the Moderator(s) that were involved in the situation will be along to answer you. Please be patient as most Moderators have real lives as well. So, it could take up to 24 hours to answer your question. If you have not received a reply in 24 hours.. then I suggest you send a request to the "Getting Help Section"

I took a look in the region and I think the answer is here in the Regional Happenings

* 1 day ago: The Most Serene Republic of The Bear-riding Hobo ceased to exist.
* 1 day ago: The Borderlands of Hobos That Drink ceased to exist.
* 1 day ago: The Republic of Goatse Gaping Hole ceased to exist.
* 1 day ago: The Republic of Hobo Militants ceased to exist.
* 1 day ago: Hobo militants was ejected from the UN for rule violations.
* 1 day ago: The Commonwealth of Gaymo McFapfap ceased to exist.
* 1 day ago: Gaymo mcfapfap was ejected from the UN for rule violations.
* 1 day ago: The Republic of His Big Hairy Wak Wak ceased to exist.
* 1 day ago: His big hairy wak wak was ejected from the UN for rule violations.
I see 3 booted out of the UN for rules violations and two that were most likely tossed for names those being, 'His Big Hairy Wak Wak' and 'Goatse Gaping Hole'
Would this be a reasonable assumption?

Nations with offensive names are NOT allowed and will be deleted.

Alright. In that case, what can be done about regional control...before the founders nation was deleted, UN Delagate control was removed. Should we have an election then notify a mod, or what?

Out of sheer curiosity: is the word 'hobo' now being considered offensive, if so why, or were those nations deleted for other reasons?

Yes please, why Bear-Riding Hobos and Hobos that Drink...and with the ones that were ejected from the UN- why were they deleted also, or is that standard?

Bear-Riding can be considered sexual, as a "bear" is slang for a hairy man.. and well riding, you get the point.. only justification I can give for the "hobos" names

Control is automatically restored to the Delegate when the Founder ceases to exist.
