Click (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=131925) here and scroll down till you see a piece of text which offers chemical and biological weapons. This text has been ripped from my thread which I posted earlier and can be seen here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=128166&highlight=). I don't know what to do but telegrammed him to remove it. I really don't know if it's against the rules in any way. I just don't like people ripping large pieces of text.
Thank you

It's not explicitly against the rules, but it is certainly bad form; I'd like to discourage ripping text in entirety, but most of the arms merchants in this game rip their text off of third party sources in the first place. :?
Post again in here if you continue to have problems with this sort of thing.

Are there any rules explicitly against this?

Unofficial Comment: You could make the argument that what you posted is technically Copyright you, and thus they may not quote it in whole without accreditation . . . and definitely w/o permission.

I got ripped once, FutureEngland decided he liked my ships.
Fourtunatly he did this on the Intenational Mall, where I am, in fact, the admin.
Never plagurize an Admin.
HE got a major admin bomb :)
Being a mod is fun, I wish I could do it more often.

"You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, attempt to "hack" the site or another player's account, nor otherwise mislead as to the origin of information." ( http://www.nationstates.net/pages/legal.html )
Thats the only thing in the terms and conditions that I can find which might be interpreted as such a rule. Claiming someone else's original work as your own is certainly a case of "[misleading] people as to the orgin of information." TJHairball said "ripping" is common anyway, so proving original authorship in the first place is probably difficult/impossible.
Hmmm.....well, someone ripps me and I throw Big, Intelligent Words that actually mean one word and other things like that....
Na, wouldn't ever do that.....anywho....
