Disappearing Threads

Hi, I'm a little concerned. On four occasions now (three times in the UN forum, once - most recently - in General) I have posted a response in a topic and because of server delays ended up with a double post. I've gone to delete the second post and the server dies again. When it revives, the thread has disappeared.

I'm very worried that I've inadvertently been the cause of four deleted threads. The most recent case was a General thread debating the reasons behind eastern European nations' pro-US politics (I'm sorry I can't remember the actual title or author).

I'd be grateful for some feedback.

Many thanks

Yes, this happens to me too.
Basically, when the server is lagged up, threads get 'stuck' in the server. In the future, either wait for the server to catch up with everything before you try to post your thread again, or sometimes clicking the Back button and posting in the thread again will bring it back to life.

Thank you. However, I may just stop deleting repeat postings and stick to sticking in 'DP' or summat. It's safer that way.

Annoying though. My posting on eastern Europe was huge...
