Ok I am NOT saying down with the mods or trying to be mean, I just want a GOOD explanation to recent events in the Alericas, and if no good explanation arises I and other nations would like our nations back.

Recap, to my knowledge 4 nations have been deleted in the Alericas, two in North Alerica and two in West Alerica. All four were deleted on the acount that they had more then 1 UN nation, I am one of these nations, I have spoken to the other 3 and none of us had more then one UN nation. all 4 were deleted in the same day, and I was just wondering why? It seemed a little strange, plus two of these nations were UN Delegates. This is really hurting our regions so if u could respond that would be great,

I was being a bit sarcastic. Nations, Provast 2, don't get restored under any circumstances for being a UN multis. There's no way to verify it, I'd suggest just playing the game and making sure you don't let anyone access other UN nations from your computer or vice versa.

Provast 2: For the record, I am NOT the Moderator who handled your case. However, I have checked the official records, and you ("Provast") show up as a frequent UN multi with "That Is Western Front", "Modified Socialism", and "Alerican Rebels".

If you really are separate people, then we're sorry, but we cannot verify that for ourselves. The only explanation in that case is that you have been sharing computers very frequently; computer-sharing looks identical to UN multying and must be treated as such.

Reiterating and explaining rulings that Moderators have made and explained in the past is okay. However, since you're not a Moderator, you cannot know for certain why a specific action was taken against a specific nation. Please do not speak as though you do know for certain.

First off, the truth is that I did have Western front as a UN nation while Provast was in the UN but then my friend Demagogues the respected ex-Delegate of Imperial Germany recommended that I resign Western Front from the UN and I did so, but that was several months ago and to consider it in your ruling would be post ex facto and should defiantly not be considered as I did the right thing and resigned it from the UN. Isnt that what the mods want, dont they want people with two UN nations to peacefully resign one of them. I wouldnt think that mods want to delete people while ocasionly nessasary it still takes from the game. And I know that mods truely love and enjoy the game as I do or they wouldnt be mods.

Also I am defiantly not Alerican Rebels in fact I cant even remember him logging on on my computer it is very possible as we are good friends and I have known him since the 2nd grade but if you were to check his nation I am positive that you would see that he checks much more frequently on his own comp.

With Modified Socialism that is a harder situation, Mod Soc is also a good friend of mine but he is not really that enthusiastic about the game, he made his nation at my house and it is quite possible that he checked it at my house more often then his as I think he made his nation really only because I made one.

Still u are right none of this completely solves the problem that you cannot verify whether a person is multing or if it is just a friend. So I will give you their screen names, if more then one of us in online at a time then we obviously arnt the same person.

Also another nation was deleted his nations name was Abdulah now since u didnt name him on the list of people u think I had why was he deleted?

Next I come to a very serious question, I was under the understanding that one a nation is caught for Multiing that his/she nation is ejected from the UN. So I must ask that even if you believed I was multiing why was I deleted. Deletion is a much bigger deal then ejection from the UN, just so u can see from my perspective how would u feel if your nation that u had had for in my case a year was just deleted, gone, that ruins your name, your establishment and the fun of the game.

Final question is do u know who was the mod. that reviewed my case because I do have some specific questions for him, and I believe that he would obviously give the best account as he was the one who did it.

the Scuttlebut has been running around since I joined the game that the Alericas were home to many UN multiers. hence why I stay away from them.

Everyone being online at the same time doesn't prove they are not the same person. I have a program called DeadAIM which allows me to clone AIM and be on anywhere from 1-10 SN's at a time.

So, as you can see, just saying you're someone else doesn't mean you are someone else. There's no scientific way of proving accurately whether or not you are the same person or not.

How can you prove that without a moderator coming to your house?

And, that's not true, DeadAIM does allow you to sign on with more than one SN, go to jdennis.net if you don't believe me. AIM does not allow you to clone itself without the proper additional software, which is what DeadAIM provides. If you didn't know this, how could you say somebody would bring it up?

You don't seem to get that the moderators have no way of proving anything you're claiming. There's no way to verify the story you're telling without them coming to meet you in person, and that's just not going to happen. Go back and read the threads regarding natures of this matter, and you'll see, 9 out of 10 times, a UN multi does not have the claims against him/her dropped in the "proof" you are presenting.

I was simply reiterating previous decisions the moderators have made and clearly stated that I am not a moderator, which is what I was told to do.

As a moderator, I can clearly state that what Tuesday Heights is saying is, in almost its entirety, true. Provast, the proof that you are providing requires one of two things to occur:

1. We take it on faith that the different Email addresses, AOL accounts and so on actually belong to different people.

OR

2. One of us physically goes to where you live and investigates.

Obviously the second option is wildly impractical, so we can discount it. In relation to the first option, we are not prepared to take it on faith. Are we going to accept that 3 AOL accounts automatically belong to 3 different people? No. But you didn't know about programs that enable multiple screen names to be used at once - how do we know that?

Will a mod please look at the part of my message that related to the why I was deleted and not just kicked out of the UN and about the other nation that was deleted but you didnt claim was mine.

Also, just for the record, the newest version of AIM, although not clonable, allows you to sign in as multiple people at the same time. I think they call it "linked screen names" ... but the point is that no third party mods are required to have multiple AIM sns on at the same time.

One thing I dont understand is why I was deleted and not just kicked out of the UN and loose UN privleges. So if a moderator could adress this it would be great.

Deletion of the offending multi is standard modus operadii in NS. You're welcome to create a new UN nation, so long as you don't break the rules again.

Mm, ok, you see, it's not necessary for a mod to explain some of the things you're asking. Most of the answers are located in one FAQ, sticky, announcement or other. There's even one about UN multies in the UN forum. How about you go take a look at it? The answers you seek, which have already been expounded upon here, are there, too.
