I think that Red Arrow should die, like all Americans should. He pollutes the mind with pro America propaganda. In fact, I think that in that respect, he's nearly as right wing as Ed Gillespie.

This is practically ALL he posts. It's not helpful or constructive criticism, it's not thought provoking, it's certainly not polite, it is never backed up, only vaguely explained and he doesn't encourage debate, he just languidly makes baseless slurs and insults. He posts outright racism and petty name calling and precious little else.

Actually he was a well known conservative on the forum. One who I actually thought had more in him then to pull this crap. Not that his political view mattered.

More than a few years ago the sludge Brobrada was spewing would have got him put on a subversive watch list and a few more years back he could have been 'invited' to talk (and listen) to a certain senator's (witch hunting) committe.

Yep, I was doing an IP lookup on Brobrada after he anti-American race-hate flamed his way through General, and what do you know? His puppetmaster was Anthrus - the only reasonable conservative in NS, capable of meeting you halfway in an argument. And he's an American too. Weird, huh?

Wow, Brobania and Anthrus the same? Why does not such things does not surprise me anymore: because that is the way conservatists work. Proven again. I just feel pitty that it was Anthrus because he was perhaps the only reassonable cons. on NS. But he had a way to let is hate out via Brobania and then show up as the innocent and more reasonable in between.
I allways try to see the good or the innocent part of a person so I think that he was just a sick person, a mental ill. Or he did not do it deliberateley because everything is showing us a Schizofrenic, wich is a dissease and then he needs help instead of being on the internet. So the mods did a good thing, he'll understand now that he needs to go to a doctor before touching his keyboard again.

I'm afraid I don't believe it was. I don't know what happened, perhaps he was drinking? I really don't know. It seems like such a waste of a decent conservative debater though. I know I personally hate deleting conservatives.. if they're all gone.. who am I going to debate with who isn't an extremist. :(

Yes, Anthrus was always willing to see things from your point of you, instead of doing the usual General Forum thing, which is demanding to know what the hell a communist like you is doing claiming a right to a point of view.

But perhaps we are sounding too much like an obituary here. I hope he will be back.

I wonder if he was aware that mods could detect his IP address. Maybe he thought that nobody would figure out his little ruse. Or maybe he knew that they'd detect it, but that the offense wouldn't get his main nation deleted. The only other explanation I can think of is that he was just committing deliberate suicide by mod. In any case, I agree that it's sad to see him go. As several people have pointed out, he was one of the VERY few reasonable American conservatives on this forum--one who could actually carry on a thoughtful debate, instead of reciting right-wing talking points and insulting anyone who disagreed with him.

No, he should have known better. It's pretty common knowledge that if you try to prop your argument up with puppets in General, the mods will smack you. As for his actual conduct...weird. I never would have guessed it was him.
