With a post reaching 999 responses, and running to fifty pages, can it quietly be laid to rest.

Or at least moved away from the "General" forum.

Isn't there forums dedicated to this type of gaming?

And a stoppping of "last to post wins" might help as well.

I am sorry if our having fun is disturbing you.

Please if you want to clear out the server get rid of the 3000 topics about GW Bush and Gay marriage.

Our policy is we lock threads in the General forum when they reach 65 pages. We delete them if they are without substance, such as games or last one to post here win type things.. As well as "cafe" type threads. The one you mention will probably only be locked, once it reaches 65 pages.

That way, the proper and important debates and so-on could go in there. And we could rename general... um... 'OOC RPs', maybe. After the server change.

It's been suggested before.
Usually, it was Generalites who suggested it and it got attacked by RPers.

I'm personally in favor since I'd like to see General back to being readable (although there are no guarentees).

Shouldn't this suggestion go in Tech though?
