you share one computer?

I don't beleive there are any rules against having accounts on the same computer. It's identical accounts on the same computer that is legal right?

There is one: 1 (one) nation in the UN per computer

Think the mods did a massive UN cheat scan cause in about 20 different regions I looked at yesterday some one was kicked out of the UN

It would be pretty tough to prove that the nations were owned by two seperate people and not just a multi. Besides, I have been around for a little over a month and have never seen a nation readmitted into the UN. But, I'm not a mod, you'll need to see what the mods say - but I think that the outlook is bleek.

We aren't identical nations. I am Jillland and he is Matrex. We both at are kingdoms. Is there anyway that we can do anything that I can do. Who do I talk to. I don't under stand this. Where is it stated that there is one nation one computer. I need help from you all I have never bothered with the Mods. I'm a novice at dealing with them.

You can make a new UN nation and join the UN with that. Keep in mind that your computer (or home network if you have many computers) can only have one UN nation accessing from it. One solution is to make a shared UN nation that both you and your brother use.

You'll just have to wait until a moderator comes and reads this thread. It shouldn't be too long though, the mods check this forum often. This can't be reported through the getting help page (I don't think).

Also, all I saw on the FAQ page was: "No. You may only have one nation in the UN at any given time. To enforce this, UN member nations must supply an e-mail address." From what I saw, I didn't see anything about one nation per computer. I mean, what if you were using a public (school or library) computer?

If this was a legitimate mistake, I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully the mods will be lenient, but I highly doubt it though. But, I'm not a mod.

A new ally of mine, Zaara, says that a few of his friends were ejected from the UN for faulty reasons. He himself had multiple UN nations, but he has sent me telegrams saying that he has learned from his mistakes in the past, and would like to have one nation in the UN. This is the telegram he sent me regarding his (and his region's) innocence:

The Commonwealth of Zaara
Received: 11 hours ago

Ok, ill commit to peace, but I wish to have a stronger UN presence in IMP. Also, I'm not the only one who moved nations to IMP. The nations from calvania are my friends. Plz tell the mods that those are not mine. my two nations are bobaniama and zaara. I got zaara into the UN. I tried to get Bobaniama into the UN, but thye soon caught me and barred "Bobaniama" from joining the UN. Now they barred and kicked out zaara because they think that the nations from calvania are mine, but thet're not. I wish to appeal this decision of their's and if you agree i would like you to vouch for me. All those other antions that joined were my friedns (actual other people). So I wish to join IMP again and I wont invade, but plz appeal the UN commitees decision.
---------------------------------------------

Zaara also requested that I make it apparent that we are allied, and his current region is 'Bobia'.

I hereby request that the IP's of the nations and the region he mentions in that telegram be checked, and the innocents unbarred from the UN. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read this.

We have a network. That is wrong? I wish that their was something that spelled that out. My brother is sick. I haven't told him yet. I want things to be fixed. That is all.

It's time for the biweekly UN readmission request already? There's a lot of faulty info on this thread.

Ok, how UN Multi Sweeps are conducted (as far as I know. I'm not a mod, so this isn't 100%, but if you pay attention to how they do things for a while, you'll see it.) :

Tips of possible multi, or a pattern of actions that tips off the Modar (such as a large number of nations all endorsing each other, or several UN nations logging in from the same IP within a short time), or whatever celestial patterns that guide the mysterious Forum 7, set the sweep in motion. The mods use a number of tools (one of which is an IP tracker), to determine if a multier exists, and to try to determine to what extent the cheating is taking place. About once a fiscal quarter, they'll turn up a massive ring operating (I believe the last big multier was 89 nations strong).

Innocent nations are rarely deleted. The mods can tell if you happened to log on at a friend's house one time, and never did it again, you swear to God it's true, etc. They rely on solid evidence proved by repetition to determine who is guilty. IPs that resolve to schools are often given special consideration, the benifit of the doubt.

That said, there's just no way to tell if you and your brother Billy and your sister Sally control the UN nations from your computer, or if it's all just one person. In this situation, innocent bystanders can become caught in the crossfire, but there's nothing to be done. The mods have to treat every case as a genuine case, because there's no way to tell a family from a multi. No, your word that it's your dad playing isn't enough. You wouldn't believe how often we see excuses like that on the mod forum - and I'm sure the mods see more excuses through the Getting Help page.

Which leads me to my last point. The Getting Help page is technically where this sort of appeal should go, since it involves an in-game action and not a forum action. However, this is the forum for "moderation: who got it, and why."

Cog, feel free to correct any mistakes I make. I know you follow me around, waiting for me to make a post like this, so you can point out my errors. You're always the one who points them out.
