Nations Rights Act of 2004

A few days ago I posted a draft resolution, the "Nations Rights Act of 2004" to the United Nations board. It was yanked off yesterday and I was sent a message by an unnamed moderator that I was not to interfere with the processes of the U.N.
What the hell does that mean? I don't understand why the U.N. can't vote to restrict its own authorities (it did so earlier on as not to collect taxes from states), and I don't understand why the moderator wouldn't identify him or herself and explain the rationale further. I can't even reply to this person.
If I'm supposed to make such a proposal here, I'd gladly do so.

You probably submitted a proposal which involved game mechs.
As soon as a nation starts trying to prevent certain types of proposals from being made/coming to quorum, we have a game mechanics issue.

You could look at what you want to accomplish and see how it could be done within the rules.
Put it together in a trial format for discussion on the UN forum. Get feedback from players (and hopefully from mods). Tinker with it until people seem satisfied.
Then try submitting it again, anf TM your contacts in different regions o help promote it.
That's what Frisbeteeria did, and ended up with the most significant piece of legislation I've seen here since I signed up.
Along with what Collaboration suggests, allow me to recommend (once again) that if you're proposing something which looks a little iffy, TM me and either send the proposal or ask for my Email address if you think it's too long to send here. I'll read it through and get back to you with any recommendations about it, usually within 24-48 hours (to allow for time differences and uni).

Excellent. Thanks for answering! I'll get back with the issue (in the right place) soon.
Not a problem at all. Players seem to have this idea that we're up in ivory towers or something (you should see the obsequious telegrams I get sometimes...), but we're really not - or at least I'm really not. I don't mind the odd telegram-bothering here or there, especially where it's the difference between keeping people happy and having more complaints.
