Why was my thread locked?

This thread, which was written in binary, was locked for no reason that I can see. Did I miss something?
If it was because it was thought to be spam, it wasn't. (Well, it kinda was, but not the kind you think). I was holding an actual conversation with Soviet Democracy in binary. We were not merely typing in random numbers. You may use this web-site, http://nickciske.com/tools/binary.php , to validate that were indeed conversing.
I know the Mods are busy and that I should be patient, but this is killing me. What did I do? I demand an immediete answer or I shall smite you all! :twisted:
(The last sentence is meant to show that I really do acknowledge that the Mods are very busy, and that they should not feel that I am unappreciative and rushing them)

I am betting that it was locked cause it was in binary it kinda hard for people to read binary
Soviet Democracy had no problem reading it, and that's who I was having a conversation with. Just because other people can't read it doesn't mean it's worthy of being locked.

the only reason for it to be locked, as far as i can see, would be flaming on SD's part.
that is of course, assuming TG knows binary
The only flaming I saw was two curse words that SD said in one post, and I even told him not to do it again

While topics have been posted in binary before, it is not unreasonable for a Moderator who doesn't know binary to judge it to be spam.
Additionally, your posts were not broken into lines; they were single very long lines and thus window-breaking. This is spam under any circumstances.

Okay. If I put the link to the decoder in the first post and break the lines will I be allowed to recreate the thread?

I will be lenient and allow this as an experiment. Just so long as there is no frame distortion and a link to a decoder which all players can use is supplied. Please do not abuse this.
