Please consider disposing of this piece of trash

You see this is another example. Again, I strongly object to these terms.
Your point is a valid one, AS. Sometimes I wish that people wouldn't tell us as mods how to do our job ("Lock this", "Delete him", "Move that"), but then again, we are here to help things run smoothly.
That said, I think in this case the request to "dispose of" the poster was quite justified. I didn't see exactly what he posted, but with a name such as he had, I somehow think I didn't want to.

Excuse me? I asked for them to consider disposing of someone.

Ok.. that's an interesting point. I understand that (mostly!!) Mods are people too, but I don't think I've seen any posted etiquette for alerting Mods to problems on a forum. Apologies if I'm wrong and feel free to post one!

Essentially, we would prefer people to post here in a factual manner, without personal abuse.

Absolutely, for to post with personal abuse would be to flame them and be against site rules! However, in this case (brough up by Albion and commented on by Enodia), it's not about abuse, but the terms in which the request for Mod intervention are put.
I'm honestly not trying to be funny, but just to make things more acceptable for everyone.

"this piece of trash" is a rather strongly-worded value-judgement. I prefer players to simply state the name of the nation, the nature of the offence, and a link, perhaps with any relevant detail. It really is not necessary, nor helpful, to call them names.
