You may join another nation in the UN, but not the nation that was ejected.

Schools (at least those that resolve to *.edu or *.k12 or some other school-related IP address) are given more leniency in terms of UN multi ejections, but the mods have no way of verifying that there are two (or more) different people at your school with UN nations. You got unlucky and set off their multi-scan. You can make a new nation to join the UN if you want, and be more careful with it.

It would be difficult to tell if you were really being honest and didn't cheat in the UN. It's a shame because your probably telling the truth, but they won't let you back in. Just make a new nation and sign up for the UN.

It's rare for school accounts to get ejected these days. The mods have an array of tools at their disposal to figure out who's multying, and from what I've seen, the tools are pretty accurrate. As was stated, school IPs tend to receive more leniency, but if two UN nations are consitently logged in within minutes of each other from the same IP... well...

Not that I'm saying that happened here. Just a reminder that the mods do know what they're doing. Contrary to popular belief.
