I think you've rather beaten me to it. I was about to post this topic myself to save you the trouble. However I must point out that I have been doing many, many other things than flame you.

However, I am fully aware of the rules and will accept the consequences. I will however take this opportunity to explain my actions, now that I have the ffloor. Donovan I believe that you have made yourself vulnerable to flaming from your own actions. That is not migiating circumstances and it doesn't make me right. The right thing to so is to ignore you and I have not. Therefore, as I fully aware of the rules and broke them in full knowledge, I expect no leniancy, nor do I ask for it.

But let me repeat for the record, and my posts will prove it, that I have not been constantly flaming you. The vast majority of my posts have not mentioned your name.

Every thread both you and me have posted in, you have flamed me atleast once, every time you were the only one to do it. This is the 2 day in a row you have done this.

My actions don't justify flaming, nothing does. I will ignore you, you have done nothing but flame me, so rather than acknowledge you in any way, I will ignore you.

I'm sorry but for anyone else reading this, this is a complete falsehood. I have not tried to justify flaming Donovan and I don't need to, it's a breach of rules, its as simple as that, I knew that when i did it. I'm not going to try and duck out of the fact that I have found certian of your posts objectionable. It's a fact. I do. I made it clear. just like you do. Just because no one cried modalert when you call them an idiot or tells them to stfu or makes generally snotty and needlessly insulting remarks, doesn't make you less guilty of flaming. Bit of a case of pot and the kettle.

But let's clear up one thing: We both posted to 'is japan great'. No flame. We both posted to your post about sattelite versus cable. No flame. However, and I make no secret of it, if a post gets on my nerves, I make it fun of the poster. And, if that person takes offence and rather than engage in the argument, cries modalert, I accept the consequences. If this means my ban than it means my ban.

Look fellas, this thread seems civil enough and both of you fairly reasonable. Can you not simply agree not to post angry posts to each other and give our mod squad one less thing to deal with? :)
