It's not in use, I'm just wondering.
It obviously depicts a swastika, but is clearly not supporting Naziism.

We're sorta going with the "No swasticas at all" type of thing.

Off topic, but one of my little hobby-horses:

The noun meaning "the political doctrine expressed by Nazis" is "Nazism", not "Naziism". I've seen it around these parts a few times and it just rankles a bit.

I like to go all 1984 on it and say,

Orwell, naturally, provides us with yet another useful catch-all term.

dude, No swastikas... period, if i cant use one for my religon, i dont see how this is better...

Incidentally, with teh arms bent the other way, it becomes the traditional symbol for a Buddhist temple; you can see *that* symbol on just about every Buddhist temple in Japan. Are religious symbols generally allowed? And if so, would the Buddhist one be allowed?

Swasticas are banned, regardless of orientation.

But my point is that with that orientation, it is NOT a swastica, it is a religious symbol. I'd even be willing to take photos of local temples to prove it.

I agree that in a context that is reminiscent of the nazi flag it would be very questionable, but in an appropriate religious context, it should be no more objectionable that the Israeli, Saudi, or Vatican flags, which also feature prominent religious symbols.
