The proposal you made, 'No more bad English,' was metagame.

"The proposal you made, 'No more bad English,' was metagame. Do not make such proposals again."

To the moderator who sent this message, and was cowardly enough to *not* leave a response address:

1. Enlighten me as to what this means. I assume you're not happy with my proposal, but I'd like to know why.

2. Do not treat the people using this site as mindless sheep, e.g inform them to "not make such proposals again".

A collective two fingered salute to the Nazi that had a go at me for submitting a proposal that was meant to be amusing.

And yeah, if you wish to take matters up, you know where to find me.

well, I will be interested too...

my proposition:

1. contained no offensive language
2. no racist or sexist remarks
3. no other kinds of nasties
4. was meant in jest
5. was written in a light hearted fashion

I was surprised that this constituted terms of dismissal of said proposition, and if so, speaks volumes to me about what kind of 'freedoms' we're allowed to have on this site...

oh well..

Well, the proposals for the UN are taken very seriously by the mods, and they don't like anything that isn't likely to get approved becasue of a lack of formality clogging up the board

It's not about whether it's likely to be approved or not. It's because your proposal was not of a political nature. Your proposal attempted to define how people use language - not address any national issues.

Now, should you continue to throw insults towards the Mods because he/she was following standard operation procedure, you and I will have it out. And I can pretty much guarantee you wont like the outcome.

As for the "do not do so again" bit, well, it's a warning. Short, simple, to the point. I fail to see how informing you that your proposal was deleted for being outside the realm of acceptable proposals and a warning to not do so again labels you as a "mindless sheep." But I guess maybe that's just me.
