I understand that people may want alternatives to NationStates... but one can just use a Google search. In the meantime, if I remember correctly it's another rule violation.

I understand having it in one's sig or mentioning it in another thread, but using a whole thread just to advertise?

I was actually referring to a thread started by Donovan, entitled something along the lines of "Fed up with Nation States?" It then linked to an outside forum as an alternative, offering modships and the like.

Gun control is a healthy topic. One might also suggest that The Logarchy's cut-and-paste skills are now, also, a healthy topic.

Is this TROUSRS forum? It seems to be trying hard not to compete, but to respect the primacy of NS.

So...how many people regularly use his forum? How many use this one?...
