UN membership

I was kicked out of the UN for no reason. They say that i was a multi but i wasnt. The other person effected was my girlfriend, prince scooter. We are not multi's. This happened before with my other nation Asia45. It took me out of the UN with that name and of the people was deleted and people all over NS were effected. We were wrongfully accused. Can anyone give us the evidence of this and tell us who reported us?

I think it would be wise to join forces with you Russia45. Several months ago my nation too was UN banned for what I believe to have been no reason. I received the typical one short telegram which claimed I had multiple UN nations. I was well aware of the limit on UN nations even then, just as the Mods began to crack down on players with multiple UN nations and never at any one point did I have two nations in the United Nations. I sent many emails and then many Getting Help requests for an elaboration and received no reply at all. Apparently it isn't how long you whine, but how loudly.

The mods use a cheat scan to determine if someone is a UN multi, not just reports from players.

I personally have never seen one of them counter-act the decision to remove a nation from the UN. If you are really sure you didn't have more then one UN nation, you should join again with only one nation and make sure no one else connects from your network (if you are connecting from a home computer or network, this is easier. If you play from work .. shame on you .. it'll be better if you just don't use a UN nation to connect).

The mod's say that the cheat-scan is fairly accurate, and I'm inclined to trust them more, though there is the possibility it is accidental.

I have no problem with getting another one in but i want prince scooter to get her UN membership back cause she has made a name for herself with that name and its hard to get all that trust back. this is the 2nd time this has happened for me. I will have a harder time with that than she will cause its her first time. Any suggestions on how to get her name back in?

Not likely to happen, I think.

Solution: join the UN with a different nation, and make sure you do not log in using a computer / IP Address linked to another UN nation. If need be, make a brand new nation to be your UN nation. Don't log in on your girlfriend's computer, and do not let her log in from your computer.

Many cheaters would also love to be able to claim this and have two UN member nations. The fact of the matter is that your two nations were detected logging in from the same computer, and we can't see who's on the other side of a computer. Thus, you were ejected.

Do not log into your UN nation form someone elses' computer. Do not allow someone else to log into their UN nation from your computer.

Now, I'm sorry of you really are two different people, but I can't verify that. The UN bans will not be lifted.

Well, I still insist that the mods were wrong in my case, but it seems that argument is not going to take the situation anywhere. I suppose I had hoped that the moderators would lift the ban due to the length of time involved. But it seems that the moderators have no interest in removing a UN ban ever once they've determined fault in these cases of multiple UN nations.

It isn't as though my UN banned nation was involved in some mass-multi attack or something detrimental to the game. At best I'd say it would be a misdemeanor, although I've never been given details as to how many UN nations the mods believed I had in the UN.

Though I do hate to debate the policy of the moderators, I simply cannot keep quiet when a rule as ridiculous as this affects me. My nation has been UN banned for around 6 months now, is that not a good enough slap on the wrist? Even Quaddafi might get the sanctions on his country lifted.

I'd say your right about it being a misdemeanor, but I think you're misinterpreting the punishment. It really is just a slap on the wrist. Nothing prevents you from joining the UN again, just not with this nation. Compared to the penalty for more serious violations (such as the one you describe), which is deletion of all nations involved, your punishment is quite light.

Could I at least know who reported me and her? or are the mods mad at me for creating a nation called, moderators are stupid?

Ya think? ::snicker:: A multi that flaunts itself and disses the mods? ::snort:: Why do you think that might have caught their attention?

Hehehe.

The Mods use cheat scans to view the IP for UN log ins. If multiple UN nations are seen on the cheat scan, you are ejected. It's as simple as that.

This is not an excuse. Prince scooter is my girlfriend and this is not an excuse. I would not multi ever.

I have never been a multi. I was told all the rules by a friend before i made a nation on here for the first time. The first time was with Asia45 and that was a mistake on the mods part and that effected the entire NS world and now this where it only effected 2 nations. Both times were wrong accusations. What do you need for me to prove this?

It is a sad thing that innocents are sometimes ejected - now I don't know if you really are innocent of course, but you might as well be, and innocents are sometimes ejected from the UN. But you should realize that there is not really another way of doing this. The official policy is roughly this: "We have to boot some innocents, as the UN would otherwise be taken over by people willing to cheat". Sad but true - and necessary.

Are you a fool? I would not be complaining if I did not think there were a better way for them to continue this policy of UN banning nations. If they are willing to take time to ban them, then they can unban them as well. The punishment for the crime is too unreasonable.
