I am not sure whether this should be in Technical of Moderation but...

would it help the server if threads were deleted after a certain page ?

Like General has 729 pages, would it help things to delete threads at page 700 or something ?

It would be a good idea. Maybe someday though, there's a lot of good ideas on here that get lost in the madness. : :D

[violet] recently reduced the cut-off time... technical lost about 200 pages out of it so I'm guessing General lost a lot more than that.
