I think the mods have gone too far. If no swear words or pornography is used, there is no cause to delete anyone.

His standards are irrelevant... those things are against the site rules.. by becoming a member of the site, he has agreed to abide by those rules and if he doesn't like them, the choice is live with it, or leave it!

I agree, rules are rules.
But, having said that, I feel there are occasions where certain mods have acted rashly.

The locking of a thread harms no one, and is not a cause to be alarmed over.
But, deleting a nation, particulary an old one that has a lot of work put into it, is different.

Of course there are times, most of the time in fact, when even these nations deserve what they get.
However...in certain situations.....some mods may be too quick to delete said nation.

This does not apply to all mods in this game, nor am I trying to imply anything other than an OCCASIONAL hasty decision.

Of course, my feelings are somewhat biased as I believe my nation, a nation with over a billion population, and a UN delegate, was deleted in rash and hasty manner.

In my case.....yes , i believe I inadvertantly went too far....but never once was there any name calling, or derrogatory statements.
It was the first time I had ever done anything of this nature, and likely the last.
Sadly....the only action taken by the mod in question, who in some peoples opinion, is known for being somewhat "trigger happy"...(not my words)...was to delete me, when perhaps..a forum ban would have been more fair.

Oh well.....nothing can be done I suppose....boo-hoo.....poor me....
I'll get over it.

In closing....basically, i think that all of the Mods are well meaning, in the sense that they try to be fair....but sometimes as humans do..they make mistakes too.

Why do you call the thread "corrupt mods II"? That implies something else than an attempt to persuade this site to go for a more lenient attitude.

NationsStates Forum is not a free-for-all where anything goes.

Ha you're absolutely right, the mods are way over board.

The people who say "rules are rules" are clearly linear thinkers who don't understand that the law is meant to be enacted by the spirit of the law and not the word of the law, that is unless you are incompetent and stupid and can't interpret things on your own.

Law and order types are usually vacous idiotic sheep.

The mods have gone way overboard, and will not stop any actions by IP banning, abusive tendencies and overbearing attitudes, stalking players they don't like, abusing their power, etc, these things will only cause more people like me to pop up.

The problem with this game is that these mods have become too corrupt and powerhungry, they should make people like this guy and myself mods, as we wouldn't act like total shmucks. It's like in class, the teacher should give the worst behaving kids the authority over the class or the class money because those kids are used to getting blamed for everything, so when they are given power they usually do the job well since they have something to prove.

These mods got that way by being brown-nosing do gooder freaks. So it's not too much of a stretch to say that these kind of whackos are going to act like total freak, power hungry nuts when they get such a job, which is precisely what they do.

The people here on these boards defending them and their insane actions are the same type of opportunistic scum who want to be mods themselves so kiss up to them. They probably don't believe in most of the malarchy they spout, IE rules are rules etc, but they still want the gig so they brown-nose. In short these people are just as pathetic as the same mods who harass me and other decent, ordinary criminal players.

To conclude I give a big finger to all those who do not support the cause, and my heroes are anyone who wishes to change this game back to how it was before it became a Kindgergarten thanks to these hack mods.

Um...I always thought the responsible kids were the ones given the more important tasks. As in...you had to show yourself responsible enough to be given the tasks. Not show yourself to be a "nobody" and expect to be given a large burden of responsibility...eh, whatever.


And...for those of you who'd call me trigger happy...1 billion population or not, what you did was delete worthy. Period. Not only were you heavily flaming another player, you recreated a thread put down by not just one, but TWO Game Mods...

Was this directed towards me? Are you speaking of the first nation of mine you deleted for no good reason? Eire SHamrock? That nation had close to a billion, now thanks to some scumbags Ireland has no founder. There was nothing delete worthy about that, period.

As for your infantile assumption that the "resposible" kids, ie Dorks, should be made the head of the class, that is what educators with poor imaginations do. Linear thinkers such as yourself and your brown-nose stormtrooper pals think the same, typical of the subnormal to process information alike.

Delete this nation, it is already in lazarus, where you have placed some of my other nations for no good reason. Actually now you have good reason to kick my nations as you have turned me into this. Nice work, all you needed to do was bring back Eire Shamrock before, which was asked of you nicely on many occasions, and this would not have come to this.

I would have, it's just their sheer arrogance and their haughty contemptousness that really makes it difficult to leave it be. Injustice should never be tolerated.

If they gave back all nations they illegally deleted, including of course Eire Shamrock so Ireland could have a founder then this will all end. The ball is not in our court, it's in the mods. They will never correct what they did wrong, so you should be directing your anger and annoyance at them as it is not up to us, it's up to them to stop this lunacy.

You know exactly why Eire Shamrock and every incarnation since was deleted. I know why, I was the Mod that did the deletions because I warned you numerous times to stay away from other players, and you just couldnt bring yourself to be mature enough to do so.

Yes i agree with all the rules but shouldnt we have warnings to let us no that we are breaking the rules.I am the former nation of dumb and dumberer.Did i have a chance to not do whatver i did.And all the nations in the region of hobo joe city is getting deleted.For a reson unknown.

About warnings: Whether you derserve one depends on the seriousness of your "crime". If I flame somebody by being rude within more or less ordinary limts, then a warning that I should shut up is OK for starters. However if I start out flaming with a bunch of racial and/or sexual slurs, then I say that my offense is big enough to merit deletion without warning. Some for other offenses. This is more or less the policy being followed, I think.

After Hapward was deleted for this, he created Yess to keep up such idleness so his new Hapward I Are would not be deleted. Of course, it's the same player, so when he continued to spam, all of his puppets were deleted.

This is the same person giving hints to ES to use puppets to continue blatantly annoying us while keeping another to 'play the game.' Unfortunately for rule-breakers, it doesn't work that way.

Each new resurrection is given a chance to straighten out and fly right (Yu -Gi-Oh has done well in this regard) but if it keeps up the abuses of past incarnations I for one see no need to warn simply because it is the same wolf in a different sheep's clothing. I like to butt in where I don't belong, if you so much as think of defending yourself against another player, and that player, even if he antagonized you, goes and complains, tattles to me, you can make sure I will delete you mister!

Sounds unfair? Well it is ! We mods do our best to make your gaming experience totally annoying. Do we delete long established nations for little to no reason? Of course! Do we hand out little warnings, then delete nations for minor infractions afterwards without a proper hearing of any kind? of course! We are tyrants, and you people better get used to it.

Shape up or ship out, better yet just ship out! I am powerhungry and devoid of reasoning, I have a huge chip on my shoulder.

There's no real purpose for this thread really. The rules will stand: No pornography and no (graphic) swearing.
