Hell, there are moderators who attach pictures to every post (don't know if mods can set sigs for themselves or not though)

No, no, perhaps your not quite catching the inflection. It's not a sig. It's just a picture. In the manner of his entire post consisting of:
*pic*
"Duke Nukem says to blow it out your ass."
That's it. That's no signature.

Taking a look at his other posts (Boy he sure does like to use pictures...), I'd say he's fine since he stopped whatever spam he was doing. But not being a mod, don't take my word on it.
