This message was left in ireland, threatening to get a corrupt mod to work their magic on ireland. A few hours after my nation fianna eireann responded, it was deleted. Please investigate this matter, as it seems their is a corrupt mod out there.

That does indeed look like a mod gone bad, or possibly a hacker, or somebody who got your password somewhere else.

When you see a nation moved to Lazarus and then cease to exist again it's because a mod opened it up to check something then killed it again. I'm sure they had a valid reason for it.

Yes those posts were meant for munster though those nations were deleted and posted by mistake in rr.

A corrupt mod is definitely targeting ireland, especially my nations. I did go to munster to write things, but several nations there wrote worse things, griefed my nation more so it definitely does not have to do with that as they would have been deleted as well. this has to do with the corrupt mod targeting our region of ireland, the threat left which i posted above.

Some good mod should take care of this!

Eire, you coming back will not help matters. You have been deleted, and apparently will keep being deleted - so I am assuming you aren't welcome anymore. All the moderators are fair, at least as far as I can tell, and I'm sure if you were deleted a mod or (mods) felt at one point in time you needed to go.

In short, please quit making new nations. It won't help your case at all.

Okay, the facts on this:

Ireland_ is a UN multi.

There are no mods moving away. Ineptia is going back on break, but he doesn't have anything to do with this. Stephistan deleted the last ES clone but isn't leaving. I've dealt with the latest spate of Munster flamings and I'm not going anywhere. The rest of the mods aren't doing anything in relation to this OR moving.

This is a flimflam, plain and simple.

HA NO, it's fact. There is a mod targeting us. Looks like one has it in for Ireland and especially me -- or else then many nations that flamed me with far worse insults, such as ballyegan, da fighting irish and others in munster would have been history!

I like how this guy tries to explain it, that ES was flaming. If the mod was interested in justive than all those flamers would have been deleted, not just ES since he stood up the corrupt mods threat!

Yes, you got deleted a few times for flaming. You broke the rules, and got punished.

If you have a complaint about others flaming as well, you might want to file that complaint (see: Mod Report) on those alleged rule violations. I'm sure some Mod will look at the evidence you can present.

We can all safely say that a rogue mod has it in for myself and Ireland -- it was admitted to in this very thread. I never broke any rules, as I never spammed munster, simply wrote back and forth with them. If I am guilty they are as well, but that's o.k. the mods saw what they wrote when they looked at what I wrote so no need to file a report.

The corrupt mod is only looking to railroad me -- not interested in justice. If there were justice in this game then my old nation Eire Shamrock would be back, but the corrupt mod is only interested in silencing me, as was admitted in this thread.

Eire, I'm not making a big assumption when I say this, but I'm pretty sure that Game Moderators can check the history of people fairly easily. And you might have been the subject of one or two threads in the Moderators only forum.

Actually, while I don't recall the specifics, I also remember you being a vocal rulebreaker before. So maybe I'm just a non-mod dork, or maybe you grossly underestimate other people's ability to remember things.

there is a log of all deeted nations. s'how they could see mine were deetd due to inactivity a moon or so ago.

why do you think you deserve a conspiracy? these are very busy people. from what i've seen they barely have time to deal with legit griviences let alone taking apart someone they'd barely remember.

When a mod brings up a nation they see an entire list of variables on you, including a list of recorded actions against you.
Guess what this list would then include...past disciplinary actions against you.

We can all safely say that a rogue mod has it in for myself and Ireland --.I don't know about that, but I think we can safely assume a few things about you.

This all boils down to one thing: Do we really care? So what if some repeat offender is having a hard time facing the actions of what are now some quite annoyed Mods.

First off, a corrupt mod who knows the inner workings of this game, is going to be able to cover his or her tracks a lot better than the supposed "evidence" you keep saying you have but have never shown any one of us. You keep repeating your "arguments" that you see as fact, when really you haven't presented anyone with ANY facts only the truth from your eyes, which could or could not be skewed.

Second, no mod admitted to wanting to "silence" you or anything other than explaining to you why you are wrong. Everyone who reads this can see that.

Third, present some hard facts, some real evidence, and maybe people will take you seriously. Maybe even the mods will take you seriously, but after all your baseless accusations, whining, and demands, I doubt anyone is even taking this thread seriously anymore.

Finally, you've already shown everyone you don't have two feet to stand on in this situation. Just give up, save yourself the time and energy, and step away from the forums.

I would think they would keep records just so that they combat the players who come back and said I never did this so that they can ressurect their nations. It's quite obvious some ex-players just don't want to believe they did anything wrong and will say whatever they can to get their nations back. These records would be able to show that the mods were justified in their actions and would hold them accountable, so as not to be corrupt.

Nope not true, they were never warned to stop by anyone, nor did they stop. If this was about rules or justice then they would have been deleted as well! The situation you described, with warnings etc, never happened!

I was targeted, simple as that -- their is a rogue mod and we need to find out which one.

There are no records or my wrong doing as I have never done anything that was out of the norm -- the only times I have been pestered with have been due to mod bias against me because I fought pirates. case closed, there is a conspiracy and we all see it.

Bye Shamrock! You were one of the first firends I made on here. Hope you have a good life.

I have known Eire Shamrock for the long haul. He is not your conventional NS player. He is, like myself, very outspoken and very, very active.

He has brought so much FLAVOR, and FIBRE to this game, throughout his presence in Germany with me, and then into Ireland, that it is my humble opinion that any sins ES may have committed are more than outweighed by the benefits he has brought to this game.

Also, while I have to disagree somewhat with ES's theory of a "corrupt mod" (sorry Shammie!) I do think that, indeed, banning him for a perceived "flaming" is going much too far. A nation of ES's long-time standing and participation should be treated with at least a little bit of preference.

He is very spirited, and I've had many serious disagreements with him. Over time we've reconciled and share many things in common. He is a great friend on NS, and as I said before, he has made this game lively, interesting, entertaining, and also addicting.

I feel, personally, that banning him would be an ultimate loss to the NS community. Sure, ES is stubborn and speaks his mind, and I do not deny that he may very well have flamed someone for which there is no excuse, yet as I've mentioned through my perspective he's contributed much to the game in a very GOOD way.

Punish him for any flaming he may have done, I didn't witness it, but I ask you please to not ban his IP.

At any rate, that is my $0.02 worth.

For all it's worth, which is practically nil, the presence of Eire Shamrock in this game made it more enjoyable for me. By God, at times I hated his blasted guts, but he made the game worth playing.

He's contributed a lot. More good than bad, I'd say even.

He has brought so much FLAVOR, and FIBRE to this game, throughout his presence in Germany with me, and then into Ireland, that it is my humble opinion that any sins ES may have committed are more than outweighed by the benefits he has brought to this game.


I strongly disagree with this line of argument: basically it boils down to the earning of "get out of jail free" tickets. If you follow it through to its logical conclusion then the mods, who have contributed far more than any others to the game, are able to "buy" the right to act in a corrupt manner.

The rules of the game should be applied equally to all, regardless of any past contributions they should have made - there is a reason why statues of Justice traditionally wear blindfolds...

I agree, to an extent... if the nicest person on the planet who gave millions to charities and invented the cure for cancer went and committed murder, there'd be no arguement for this person to be released because of his past good actions.

But... (always a "but" somewhere), given this is a game, I do think some leeway is permissible. It's out of my hands. I've only said what I think, for what it's worth, and you'll all have to agree that ES is entitled to at least one or two people for his defense.

But do you agree that if Eire Shamrock is able to "buy" a licence to flame despite repeated warnings, then the moderators should be able to "buy" a licence to act in a corrupt manner, surely the principle is the same, no?

(Irrelevant side note: it also seems to me that you are not defending ES or his actions, but instead pleading for leniency...)
