Apparently it was locked, and i can see why. The guy has started flaming, calling people idiots and attacking pople for their political belifs.
I know its not high in your list of priotities but if you do get the time please take a look.

As the only mod (emeritus or otherwise) who, to my knowledge, would ever even think of voting for a Communist or Socialist, I can safely say that I didn't lock the thread.

I was thinking more of Stephistan, her liberal stance tends to mean she gets called a commie by those wacky neo-cons.
True true, I'd forgotten the political implications of letting a very conservative conservative into the issue.
Then again, the theory I always follow is that if 75% of the anti-communist hate-thread-mongers around these parts actually met a proper communist (or socialist, or anarchist, or anything else along those lines), they'd be utterly stunned. They'd have to re-calibrate rather rapidly to compensate for the fact that their liberal opponents were anything but communist.
