Sounds good, except for one problem:

Gay Rights

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Kundu

Description: WHEREAS it has been clearly witnessed there is an outspoken minority who wish to oppress gays. We, the People's Republic of Kundu and the other peoples of the world wishing for the preservation of freedom and the respect of all hereby resolve that all member nations of the United Nations must pass laws protecting people from discrimination in all parts of life. We also resolve that gay marriages be protected and endorsed by law in the member nations.

Votes For: 12705

Votes Against: 7734

Implemented: Sat May 3 2003

The Question: Since RichfieldMN's proposal is almost (but not exactly) a duplicate of the previously adopted resolution, is it valid? I'm requesting an emergency ruling because it has IMHO a fairly decent chance of making quorum, and then it cannot be deleted even if it is ruled against.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and agree with you Goober.. This is already a passed resolution and I don't see the need for it to be repeated. I will delete the proposal...

I guess I'll explain or you can when they come to mod asking why it was deleted..lol

Steph.

[Edit] I decided to go through the list.. I have purged all the proposals that shouldn't be there.[Edit]
