son of attila the hun is working for Xenu. that's why i changed the pw. if u natives want the new one, telegram me.

I thought you had to give out the password, not say that you can TM the delegate for it, and son of attila the hun is a native.

In a region that can be passworded the password must be given to all the natives immediately following a change by the invaders.
(You must give out the password to the natives!)
-Neutered Sputniks

Saying "Telegram me for the password" is not an acceptable substitute for telegramming the password to natives. While you may request that non-natives telegram you for the password, you must actively telegram the password to all natives as soon as you impose or change the regional password.

Thats from Garrison II 's FAQ, its not linked but I think its a direct quote.

edit: that's a link to his thread in Gameplay, if the quotes are correct, it looks clear cut.

A reminder to the Delegate: Every time you change the password, you must telegram the new password to all of the natives. Telling natives to telegram you to ask you for the password is not acceptable. --The Modified Democratic States of Cogitation

alrighty.

This appears to be resolved. Let us know if the natives do not get the password.

Just out of interest Cog, is the FAQ ok to quote from? I wouldve huted down the direct quotes, but Garrison has done a reaqlly good job, so if there all ok it could save time.

What if a cunning native decided to claim they were not given the password after erasing the telegram? Is it safe to assume Mods can see deleted telegrams if absolutely necessary? Just a thought...

Heh, its meant to be invaders who are the sneaky ones!!

I dont think tg's are archived, but unless a large group of natives did this, every other native in the region would have it, I dont know . . . .

How did you know I'm a defender/not an invader? lol

I'm an Intel person...always looking for that one unsuspected thing the enemy might be doing...

and it could theoretically work against liberators, with the right enemy puppet sitting as native in the invaded region.

No, No! I didn't mean you Pope Hope! I meant that the natives aren't meant to be tricksy, only the invaders, I actually didn't what side of the fence you sat on, mind you, I could guess defender for most people on this forum and be right, not manu invader nations post here.
I spotted the possibility of using this offensively, then, I do dabble in invading so I tend to look at things that way!

edit: spellings.
