I was wondering if it would be possible to do like some other forums, put a report function, but this would be for a thread in the wrong place, (like RP in General or something) instead of people coming here & posting ModAlert,there would be a "Report" button on each thread(near quote)
so questions are
#1 is it possible
#2 would it be too hard to add ?

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be an excellent idea IMHO.

Seems good but I suspect that little button would be pressed rather more than we have modalerts now. And think how some idiots could 'spam' with it.
It's possible on Invision boards, but there is no such mod out for PHPbb2.
It would require some fairly hefty modification of the forum.

What might be an interim solution, would be to have a "report thread" for each forum.
Currently the vast majority of moderation requests for gameplay are placed in the same thread. It seems to work fairly well, could it be used for the others?
edit: It would tidy up the mod forum aswell as giving the mods easier access to the posts/threads reported
