I've seen worse. If this was a one time occurance I would say forget about it....warn him and thats it. However I have heard his name mentioned before in unfriendly terms, so that leads me to believe this isn't the only time he has done something like this, in that case, then by all means dispense the adequate mod-prescribed punishment.

Given his constant racism, I think you should take some action against him. We don't need racist bullies around.

Erm, whilst I am no dear friend of Mongoose's (I mean, he was warned by Steph for flaming me) I feel that we are trying to get him for the slightest thing.

His main problem is that he doesn't put what he thinks about people down very well - I perhaps believe what he has said about Danya, but I agree, the way he said it was totally out of order.

Over the Internet, it matters the most how you say something. People can take something you said totally the wrong way. I think he needs to figure out a better way to show how he feels.

I agree with what he says, but not how he says it. This makes a big difference.

No, mongoose, I created this thread a week ago, and not because I disagreed with you, but because I thought you were saying things that were unpleasent enough to need modding. Someone clearly bumped this cos they wanted to add something to your very thick case file.

I don't "bully" anyone. In this instance I was trying to get this person to elaborate on comments he'd made, he refused.

His style of "debate" is very frustrating.

He'll refuse to answer any questions put to him and instead try to change the subject or mock the people asking the questions, to cover up the fact that he hasn't got an answer.

Several other people got annoyed with him because of this, too.

Of course, Spoffin, Myrth, etc, etc, you WOULD be saying "Booo booo big bad Mongoose Spatula" wouldn't you? You simply cannot deal with anyone who doesn't immediately agree with your opinions.

I've just been having quite a heated debate with Catholic Europe. It did get quite heated. *HE* doesn't come running into moderation and go, "Please deal with this baaad man." He gives as good as he gets, and I enjoy debating him because of this. After the debate is over, we're still there chatting quite politely about stuff.

It's a pity more of you can't take a leaf from his book and just DEAL with people you don't agree with instead of whining for them to be DEALT with.

STOP PRESS: Daniella was on her way to the hospital for her life-saving brain surgery when her car crashed, killing her instantly. Well, yes it is quite hypocritical. I, when being flamed etc, warn that person myself, first, if they still continue then I report. I don't do it because of the slightest thing - which is what I feel has been done to you.

But, oh well, the damage is done. It is no longer in our hands, and yet again the mods have to deal with a 'race argument' amongst others.

No, this was the proper way to do. All I am commenting on is the fact that it has deteriorated to this point. Once it passed 2 pages long it outlived its own usefulness.
