Now that it is around vacation 3 questions come to mind:
1. How much longer should we expect for forum requests to be processed?
2. How much longer should we expect for game requests to be processed?
3. Are [violet] and/or Max on vacation?

In terms of any day-to-day moderation (floating around the forums and deleting UN proposals and so on), I'll be around most of the time (barring Christmas Day, Boxing Day and various bits of New Year - depending on how hard I celebrate it). Don't expect too much beyond the normal, but the game won't be completely un-moderated.

Usually [violet] responds to my emials within 12 hours so either:
-Max and [violet] are on vacation
-Max is not [violet]. and did not consider my emails worth resonding to
-I asked one annoying question too many and now [violet] is not responding
I know that you won't tell me if it is 2, but will you reveal if the answer is closer to 1 or 3, from what you know of M&V?

I should still be in and out through out the holidays... I'm pregnant.. so it's not like I can drink..lol .. Other then Christmas morning and Christmas dinner I should be around.

No. What I'm saying is that the stuff I do personally (UN proposals, the odd locking/thread move, deletions of spammers etc) will happen at roughly the same speed it does now. Big massive griefings, I should at least be able to take interim measures about and hope that someone more experienced with what the griefer rules have evolved into appears in time.
ANd do you know about max and [violet]?
I'm not going to get drawn into the old "Who is [violet]?" business, but most Australians (which is a category including at least Max) would be out of action on Christmas Day itself. Boxing Day too, especially if the Australians in question are Melbourne-based and/or have a passing interest in cricket (Australia's Boxing Day Test is an annual tradition). Even if neither of them actually care for the cricket, it's best to assume they'd be out of action during that time at least.
As for if any of them are on holiday right now, [violet] was around in the past few days, but I don't know if that was his/her last appearance for the year.

I'll be around, sporadically. Some of us arent allowed the luxury of having more than 2-3 days off over this holiday season, and as such, I dont have time to drive anywhere - not that there's anywhere I really want to go, butcha know, it's the principle.
Anyway, as I stated, I'll be around, but probably wont do much more than handle emergencies.

I'm going to take the opportunity to wish everyone happy holidays, especially the mods. We can't describe enough just how much we all appreciate what you do for the game, and for the players. Enjoy the time off from school/work/whatever. :)

As for nasty things, I'd really, really hate to have the server working perfectly. I'd loathe it. Truly. Under no circumstances repair this server.
