At this point in time, we are not honoring any founder appointment requests. The founder is the nation who created the region, not simply the region's elected "knight in not-always-so-shining armor."

But how does the moderator decide who becomes founder?

well, i've seen a few times that when a region was griefed, a mod puppet became the founder temopary, untill the region was secure again..

It the rare instances that it does happen, they usually just ask players to pick a nation and voice their support for it on the regional message board.

Ok. I guess that instance was unusual then.

If the mods appointed founders whenever anywhere cried "griefing" then all someone would have to do is continue to allegedly be "griefed" to control regions.

The mods know what they're doing, and asking to be appointed in a forum topic, isn't going to get you the power you desire.

They do to cry and the mods sometimes... don't know what they are doing.
