Question concerning invasions
I know that there is a rule that tells me to unban every ejected native. My question is, can the natives be unbanned, let's say, after a certain period of time?

the mods said before, you have to unban then immediatly..

Really. Where has this been said? My memory is really awful...

probably in the pacific threads.
it was my understanding that one could ban natives for a period of 24 hrs.

In general, the rule is immediately.
However, I know why you ask, and as the nation in question has begun essentially spamming the regional happenings, I'm making no ruling.

mmm, i'm pretty sure i read it somewhere, but i can't search on keywords now..

well, this certainly gives griefers new loopholes..
It is time to send a TG to [violet]. Neut is helping griefers to keep a native out. Like if I was doing all that returning to grief Monaco

Does it? It certainly allows invaders to keep troublemakers/spamming natives from returning (which has always been somewhat accepted).

so now someone who wants to stay in her/his region is called a spammer?

No, someone who continually repeats an action knowing that it will fill up the entire regional happenings is a spammer.

Corinthe is the one instigating it

OK, you're both right, they both are spamming
fisz for ejecting her, and corinthe for going back in.

okay, thanks unfree ;)
It's kind of a negative feedback loop...
Fisz ejects her, Corinthe returns, only to be ejected by Fisz again.
How is it determined who is at fault?

Corinthe is the one who continues to return, knowing that she'll be immediately ejected. If it were not a continuing thing, I mean, if she wasnt being ejected and then immediately attempting to return, it would be a little different.

How many people were ejected?
Crazy girl
13-12-2003, 22:24
you can turn that around too..
fisz kicks cor, while he knows she will return immediatly..

Indeed. I agree with Myrth here. I'm simply attempting to put a little different perspective on the happenings.
Crazy girl

also, what about this?
Max and [violet] have both spoken on the subject, and so long as an invasion does not do the following things, they are considered a legal form of play:
-Ejecting a large number of natives (judged on a case-by-case scenario- 40% is a good meterstick for measuring it though)
-Spam/flood the regional message board and regional happening
-Take over by use of UN Multies
-Interfere with the natives' ability to come and go from the region as they please. (This includes kicking people out and leaving them on the ban list, passwording the region without giving the password to the natives, and the like.)
It's unlikely that the Powers That Be will change their minds on this.

What about "no spamming" and the invaders right to tactically eject threats to their invasion?
Crazy girl
13-12-2003, 22:29
that was fast...
okay, explain how cor is a threat, and cor is not the only one spamming..

Because everyone knows of Corinthe and her connections, etc. (Remember, The Pacific?).
Look, Fisz is playing by the rules. Corinthe is playing by the rules. The only thing either side is doing is potentially spamming of the regional happenings.
Corinthe is more at fault for this spamming because of her repeated, immediate, attempts to return to a region knowing full well she'll immediately be ejected again.
Now, it is also on Fisz because Fisz ejects Corinthe knowing full well Corinthe will immediatly return.

normally...yes
Well, if the invaders are not letting her puppet in, isnt that griefing?
The invaders are require to keep her off the ban list, which is what they're doing. It's hard to pin the blame because it's a big loop... is Fisz to blame for constantly ejecting Corinthe, or is Corinthe to blame for constantly returning?
