need to find spam info fast. where to look?

we're having trouble with a guy and i would love a url i can point him to.

if i'm wrong then i'll go for that as well, but i'm sure salusa warned me for doing the same thing ont he pacific regionals.

I'm just about ready to commit a heinous crime in the SP! We really need some help on this spam issue ... is anyone able to help?

what he was doing was posting the same message every 15 mins. i am looking to see if i can find a url i can point him to when i lose it and tell him to get stuffed.

Uh, all spam should be reported to the Game Mods via the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help), and they'll deal with the nation in question. Although, I see no problems on the SP Civil HQ. If that's not what you need, then I have no idea what you're talking about.

Spam/SPAM: Off-topic, irrelevant and multi-posts that clog the server. This includes posting lots of smilies which is known as Smilie Spam. Also akin to spamming is Post-whoring which is when a player posts anything just to increase the postcount, also known as Normacking. Going in and out of a region and hence filling up the regional events board with departing and arriving messages is known as Events Log Spamming and is not allowed. Spamming to the point where you get deleted is known as Klamathing.

we tend to deal with all spam in house. a feeder region is a huge target for spam and this way we deal with 99.9% of it all in our own way. the offender gets 3 warnings and then they get tossed. :D that way we don't bug teh overtired overworkd mods about every 12 year old little turd who thinks its fun to beat up on a feeder.

this case was a little different as it wasn't run of th mill spam. that's why i'm here as the vp of the south pacific region to check with the mods on thier definition of spam. the country in question entered into a dialogue about it and i told him the truth: ' i had been warned by salusa about something similar' he asked for a url thinking the game mods dealt with spam the same way we do. (we have a log of offenders with proof of thier guilt) naturally because the warning had been on the pacific regional board i couldn't give him one. which is why i'm here asking this question. i need to be able to give him a url when i tell him to go stuff himself.

damn none of those really fit what he was doing. thanks basenji.

We are 6557 in The South Pacific and on the forum there are 412 accounts... I have 4 accounts on the forum....
and there are members of other regions and members of Atlantic Alliance....
... So.... (if all the accounts are Nations of The south Pacific!!!!!!) only the 6.283% of the Nations of the South Pacific are on the Forum...
Last election for the vice-president of the South Pacific see vote of 35 Nations/accounts of the forum.... so only 0.533% of The Nations of The South Pacific had voted....
There is The Permanent Council of The South Pacific on the Forumm... "THEY".... are voting for amendments to the "Charter" (???) (do you had voted this Charter???)...... This is an emendment...

5 minutes ago The Republic of Salubrity What does a bordello have to do with political leadership. Many of us appreciate the time and effort it takes by the few holding office to do the work of maintaining a region. If this region is so against your beliefs...leave. I am not a computer "geek" and I don't know a lot of the ins and outs of these type of games. This is the first one I am trying. My brother Jacksong introduced me to this game as something different for me. I have been here for a little over a month, and I am starting to learn the role playing thing. (Still no clue about most of the shorthand in the writings, but I'll get there). I usually get ten to fifteen minutes a day to play this. That is not enough time to understand the intricate workings of the game, or to even properly hold one of the offices in the region. I am sure that the majority of the "NON VOTING" population of the South Pacific region, or the entire NationStates game community are more like me...limited playing time. I support the office holders we have and appreciate their work and efforts. Sorry for the length of this, but I thought I should say something for us newer players as well as the silent majority.

I must disagree that saying something at the rate of about once an hour on a message board of this nature qualifies as spam. Furthermore any attempt at ejection warrants a trial at least.

Forse ho esagerato nel replicare più di una volta lo stesso messaggio ma esso non insulso e non conteneva messaggi volgari e scurrili e offensivi, ma faceva notare, solo un modo di essere contro la politica di un gruppo di nazioni della mia regione... e dato che questo è il gruppo dominante il mio messaggio veniva continuamente cancellato da nuovi... come potevo far leggere il mio messaggio alle nazioni da poco connesse senza che lo postassi di continuo????

well... The first aim of this game is to make politics... How is it possible to make political statements without making the message available to all, so that it is read by all all? Perhaps I have exaggerated in replying more than once by posting the same message but it is not dull and it did not contain gross, nasty or offensive messages , but it pointed out, only a way to be against politics of a group of nations of my region... and since this is the dominant group my message came to be continuously cancelled from when I posted it... How I could make my message available to the little connected nations from without continually posting.?

Just thought you may want to see the translation for that - but my italian is WAY rusty ...
