Please lock a thread in General

It is not filled with spam, flaming, or idiocy, but it has left the point of the thread. I started it to discuss how newspapers (and other news mediums) can modify what they write so that, even though the facts they present are correct, the impression and meaning of the article's are way off.
The artical that I cited in my first post as an example had to do with Bush (BIG mistake) and the thread, despite my best efforts, is now completely off track.
While no rules are violated (yet) I'd like it locked since the reason for it being made in the first place is no longer the point of the thread.
Then bring it back on topic.
I've tried. people don't even acknowledge my posts.

Well, within reason.. I mean with this current thread it went off the topic it's creator intended for it to. I mean if every day you were in here asking for your thread to be locked.. I'm sure that would wear rather thin on the moderation staff after a while and you may find yourself getting a bit of a talking to..lol
