I forgot my password. I should probably castrate myself, but perhaps there's a way that I could receive my password. If anyone has any ideas at all, hopefully besides trying to remember my e-mail account, please let me know.
.. castration sounds a little extreme for forgetting a passoword.
Assuming you are talking about another one of your nations that you forgot the password to:
You could request that it be sent to your e-mail address (assuming you provied one in your nation's settings).

I know, but I'm not sure if I did. Even if I did, it's gone, because I switched around March, which is a lot longer than 90 days. I don't remember if I did or what it was even if I did, so that is pointless anyway. I'm guessing that unless my karma lets me receive the gosu name I once maintained, I won't get it. Damn it...
If you go to the getting help page, you can put in a request to have your nation brought back to life. You can then request the password.
On your nation's spotlight, click on FAQ, then Getting Help.
From the drop box select "Other, response to moderator" and type in a request to have your nation revived (type its name) and they will get back to you usually withing 48 hours.

Well if she said that, she may have had a reason. Why was your nation deleted? Was it because you were inactive on it or because you violated a rule.. or just got on a mods bad side :wink:
She has more information on you, I'm guessing. I'm sure she would have a good reason to say that.

I said he was screwed because the mods don't have access to passwords.. they are encrypted.. I have no way of knowing his password.

Well couldn't (assuming his email address is still in his nation's settings when it is revived, if he provided it in the first place) you just have the password emailed to that address?

Well he won't be 6 till April.. and I am due with this one next month.. and I'm also married.. and I want to give TROUSRS a big hug.. that was so sweet..lol I wish I was 18 again. That pic was taken this past summer in July.. so it's fairly recent.. I will guess you're either a very kind person.. or I have just aged well..lol :)

Generally, the mod policy is that if you forget your password and didn't put an e-mail in, it's your problem not theirs.
File a request for the nation to be revived via the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help), and then request a password to be sent out (once the nation has been revived) via the Forgotten Password page. (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=forgot_password)

No, I don't think you will gain access to your nation again then. You can't change your email, or have us add one for you. This would create problems such as people saying nations were theirs when they were not. If you can't recall your email there will be nothing we can do about it. Sorry dude!

i think you're screwed without the email address and the password but my advice is that try and remember your old password to your email address and see if it matches because mine are the same

Normally this would be the case, but I have created approximately 30 email addresses, and most of them are dead. I'd try and guess the password, but I get banned from logging in after enough tries.
