Mod/Alerts in the Post-Search Era

Since the mods can't search for the term mod/alert without the slash anymore, should we post them in threads or just report all forum offenses here?
Or do the mods have some special way of searching that us mere PHP mortals don't know about?
If [violet] has disabled the search database, then it's gone.
The MODAlert thing is now useless :cry:
