Surgery
I am going into surgery the day after Christmas. Is there any way that you mods can put my nation in a sort of ... Sleep? Not kill it, but let it stay the way it is? I'm not sure how long I'll be gone, so Vacation mode might not do it ...

You might want to consider temporarily handing off your account to another player whom you trust.
I've thought of that. But it's a lot of work. Everyone I know is too busy to take care of a nation.
vacation mode + stop receiving issues.
only thing that will change is population.
But, like I said, I may be out for more than 60 days.
The only mod who knows what's going on is Neut. Hey Neut, if I let myself die, will population be reset?

When your nation is resurrected, it's stats are the same as when it died. Put it in vacation mode and at the end of 60 days, if you havent returned, your nation will die and keep it's current stats upon resurrection (a nation in vacation mode is idle).
You can always ask mods to revive it afterwards.

Thanks. How do I go about getting it back, should it be idle? Will a log-on bring it, or does it require resserection?

In vacation mode, you can simply log in. Should the nation die, you'll need to file a request for resurrection on the getting help page.

LMAO...um...the wedding consisted of her, myself, two friends, and one of my friends that's ordained in the front yard of my apartment at the time...
