Game Mods? I think not!

What, may I ask is the point of Game Moderators if it is not to uphold NS rules and ensure that the majority of nations are happy?
There have been a lot of complaints on forums and to Moderators complaining about a certain Pacific Delegate, to which the response has been either to lock the topic, ignore it or tell the complaining nation that 'The Pacific UN nations should sort it out themselves'.
If the Moderators were to look into the matter they would see that the last of these is simply not an option due to rules, strongly enforced by the Delegate, one of which is that UN nations other than himself may NOT collect anymore than 15 endorsements and another that no nation may oppose the delegate in any way, shape or form.
Had the actions been left to nations to sort out for days, even weeks I would not oppose the Moderators however it is more than blatant that it is impossible for this to be sorted by anyone who does not have the power to delete or eject this nation!
So how can moderators do their work well if they continually ignore a problem so many nations oppose and a nation who's actions more than warrant his nation being deleted?

Its his region, his choice. The only thing you can do is post in the regional message board. If you dont like it find another region.

If he had created the region I would agree with you, but The Pacific is not his region, it is a region created for the purpose of being a feeder region (as far as I know) not to be a plaything of online dictators!

Yeah, the Pacific sucks anyway. And so does Francos Spain.

Whilst Francos's actions aren't exactly nice, neither are they against the rules. He's allowed to kick out whoever he likes, and imposing a 15 endorsement limit is a pretty good way of keeping control of a region

All those who think this is unfair join us in RadioFree Pacific. We will libreate the Pacific from the dictator.

-opps-

So basically you're saying you and a small group are unhappy with the rules ergo Moderation should immediately change their stance to accomodate you and your cohorts. Further, since Franco has attracted so much abuse and thereby caused Moderation so much grief due to Anti forces continually refusing to accept their rulings he should be eliminated. Interesting thought process. Perhaps you all should be eliminated since Franco has the rulings on his side and you are the continual thorn in Moderation's side. No, that couldn't happen, contradicts your first point then....

I would encourage nations of the PA to not sit there and complain about who is doing what, lets do what the mods tell us to do. Figure it out, OUR way. If we just focus all this complaining into something more constructive, imagine what we can overcome. We can't be all talk and no action, if we say we are going to take back the Pacific, then lets not complain to the mods about it, lets actually do it!!

Of course, the tough thing about the Pacific is that puppets cannot assist in the takeover. If you dont like it you can get out. Thats the joy of this game.

I think that people should stop complaining to the moderators about Francos Spain unless there is a clear violation of the rules. Otherwise, if there are reasonable grounds for taking action against him at some point in the future, taking action would create the illusion that enough complaining will get the moderators to make an exception for you. I doubt that they would in fact look the other way because of this (even on something which cannot be verified by players), but repeated complaining is still not a clever thing to do, and it won't accomplish anything unless there is a rule violation.

Listen, I'm getting really tired of this topic! It has been done to death and then some!

If Francos Spain violates the rules of NS please come to us and I'm sure one of the GM's will be more then happy to deal with it. In the meantime though. Enough whining. He hasn't broken the rules despite him being a very unpopular player. Get the people who endorse him to un-endorse him or try to take over the region with your own invasion but please stop complaining to us about it!

I really don't want to see any more threads in moderation about the Pacific or Francos Spain unless there has been a violation of the rules.

And yes! I am now going to lock this thread! Enough already! Sheesh! :|

The funny thing is that Francos is only powerful because the residents of The Pacific, and those that want him gone, continue to give him attention, to fight him directly.

I've seen suggestions from other players stating that the best course of action is to simply recruit the Pacific members to move to other regions. He loses members of his region (he CANNOT force them to stay), he loses his power.
