Well - we petitioned for it, and we got it. The Archives.

First - Thank you. It's nice to see that if we ask nicely, with patience, for something reasonable, you guys make it happen.

Now my question: How does it work? [violet]s' post explains what it is for, but my question is really "How do threads get selected to be archived?"

It is explained in this Announcement (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=94288), which is at the top of the Moderation forum (admittedly, these things are easy to miss).
